$1.02 Billion: What Google Spent On Infrastructure This Last Quarter

Google results are out, and the market is trying to digest quite a few numbers. This is the one we spotted today – it is a two year high – Google’s infrastructure spend this quarter is a whopping 1.02 billion dollars. (Source)

How do we digest this stat? Well for the absolute size, we have no idea – we actually lack comparison points. But for the reason though – we can try – Google Plus for instance would require a facebook-like infrastructure, and that expenditure has to show somewhere.
