48.2 Billion: US Trade Deficit In March

We spotted this stat today:

“Total March exports of $172.7 billion and imports of $220.8 billion resulted in a goods and services deficit of $48.2 billion, up from $45.4 billion in February, revised. March exports were $7.7 billion more than February exports of $165.0 billion. March imports were $10.4 billion more than February imports of $210.4 billion.”

We spotted recently that China has a Trade Surplus of more than 11 Billion dollars.

  1. It may be my eyes or my browser, but I’m coefusnd. What does the second link have to do with this situation? It never goes into our on-hand cash spending, which is what the first link is discussing.And given that the feds spent WAAAAAY more than $158b in 2007 the military budget alone was $500b+ I pretty much have no idea what you’re trying to say here.
