Well, we did not see that coming so soon – we spotted this stat today, that if you say ‘Steve Jobs’ to a U.S. resident, the odds are barely better than 50/50 that you’ll get a nod of recognition for the founder of Apple (Source)

This is based on a report from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation which is devoted to the study and promotion of entrepreneurship. And yes, it is based on a survey of just 1000 people. But the result is a pointer to some important characteristics.
