Banks, Rescue, Billions: Spain To Inject $11.3 Billion At Bankia

We had spotted multiple stats on the amount of money spent to rescue banks – in spite of banks, in general, being the most profitable entities worldwide – meet the most profitable bank in the world – we spotted this today:

” Spain said on Wednesday its rescue of problem lender Bankia would cost at least 9 billion euros ($11 billion), as the government tries to clean up a banking system that threatens to drag the country deeper into the euro zone crisis.”

We had spotted some stats earlier on spain’s unemployment problem and how much the US Fed lent to European Banks. But when it comes to Eurpoean Banks we also know that a trillion is not enough, literally.
