CEO Pay Statistics: 343 Times More Than Average Workers

If there is one statistic that will keep going up, this is it –

“In 2010, chief executives at some of the nation’s largest companies earned an average of $11.4 million in total pay — 343 times more than a typical American worker, according to the AFL-CIO.”

This is based on analysis of salaries at 299 firms traded on the S&P 500. Fairly representative.
