Every Third Person In The World Is Now Connected

The total number of internet users in the world, as of June 2010 is 1.97 billion. So we are close to getting every third person on this planet connected to the Internet. To put things in perspective, two-thirds of the world’s population has access to electricity.

Another one-third of the planet to go, for the Internet to truly become ‘equal’ to electricity !
