Instagram Statistics: 1 Billion Photos Uploaded

We had spotted multiple Instagram statistics before. We spotted some Instagram stats today:

430K+ on its Android waiting list
30 million+ registered users
1 billion+ photos uploaded
5 million+ photos per day
575 likes per second
81 comments per second”

Let us digest that: It has been an iOS only app. With our iOS stats we know there are a total of 316 million iOS users. 30 Million registered users means every tenth iOS device has Instagram on it. Not bad at all.
