One Tiny New Jersey Bank Accounts For Quarter of Fed’s Discount Loans

Fed’s lending pattern has been interesting hunting ground for us here at Statspotting. We had spotted quite a few Fed stats – we spotted this number today, that Grand Bank N.A has utilized some 25 percent plus of the Fed’s discount window loans (Source)

The facility has been utilized some 15 times, for a total of $387.5 million during the second quarter of 2011. The bank has just two branches – The two-branch bank accounted for 27% of all borrowing from the Fed’s short-term lending programs from April to June in 2011.
