Startup Visa Statistics: 1.6 Million Jobs Could Be Created In 10 Years

February 27, 2013 8:28 am

This is a highly watched item particularly in and around Silicon valley – the Startup Visa movement. There have been all kinds of benefits floating around – like new job creation, more growth for the economy etc – but nobody put a number to most of these things so far. So when we spotted a number today, we wanted to let you know. We spotted this today – “A new report set to be released by the Kauffman Foundation today says the introduction of a “startup visa” for foreigners who want to start companies in the US could result in the creation of nearly 1.6 million jobs in the space of 10 years.” (Source)

How do we digest this stat? Well we all fight with the short-term vs long-term thing – here is our suggestion – four years could be a long wait to see these benefits – just Give Green Cards To People If They Buy A House In The U.S. It might have a surprisingly positive impact on the jobs scenario.
