This is something we need to do more frequently here at Statspotting – here is a direct trend – IT workers, in addition to bringing their own devices, could soon be bringing their own applications – in an increasingly app driven world (Source)

This could easily become a trend, given the BYOD trend that is already on. This could be big, given all the corporate data security related issues. Or, it would be a major opportunity space for some player to come along and fill these new gaps.
