Twitter Statistics: “delivering 350 billion tweets a day”

We have written about Twitter Statistics before. We spotted this today:

Twitter is “delivering 350 billion tweets a day”

How do we digest this number? Lets try this: the 350 billion is the number of tweets ‘delivered’ which obviously is a multiple of the number of tweets per day. Or, are we missing something?
