“Last year Americans spent a total of $70.15 billion on lottery tickets, according to the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries.
That tops the $62.7 billion spent on different forms of leisure and entertainment – music, movies, books, video games and sports teams – combined, according to most recent sales figures.”
We tried digesting that number but could not. Can you?
