43 to 200,000 in 26 Months. Thats the statistics for the number of apps in the Android market. These numbers are yet to be officially announced by Google, but so far Androlib has got the numbers more or less right.

Well the obvious question, then: How is Apple doing? Apple is still the market leader here, with 300,000 Apps. 2011 will be the year to watch, from a mobile apps perspective.
