26.5 Percent Of All E-Commerce Site Traffic Comes From Mobile Devices

Well, we had spotted some stunning stats on m-commerce around black friday 2011. And this year has been better. If you are still a skeptic, just have a look at what we spotted today:

"New data released by IBM shows that mobile traffic to e-commerce sites now represents an average of 26.5% of all site traffic (up from 15.8% in 2011)"

Well, how do we digest this number? Think about this: for big ticket purchases, people might still want to "sit down" and place an order. But for small to medium purchases, with the added benefits of ease and location, m-commerce is definitely bigger than what many people think.
