4.6% of All U.S Sales Is E-Commerce Sales

We have written previously about e-commerce stats - we have had difficulty in digesting some of these numbers - for example, 178 Million online customers in the US (that is close to everyone online, well almost, if you think only adults generally buy) - we spotted this today:

" Online sales haven’t suffered much of a soft patch. E-commerce sales — almost entirely Internet sales — rose 3% in the second quarter from the first, unadjusted for inflation, according to the Commerce Department. Offline sales rose just 1.1%."
