China Employs Two Million People To Monitor Web Activity

It definitely makes sense to have a 'China strategy' - we had spotted a few stats earlier that proves this point - that China is way different from the rest of the world- we spotted this stat today, that no less than 2 million people are employed by the Chinese Government to 'monitor' web activity, including microblogs (Source)

One thing we know - even if you have 100 million messages posted per day (The most popular microblogging site Sina Weibo, launched in 2010, now has more than 500 million registered users with 100 million messages posted daily) - with the right training and tools, with 2 million people, monitoring manually suddenly looks feasible.
