Less Than 30 Percent of US Homeowners With Mortgage Now Underwater

This is definitely a great sign. We had in fact spotted a few folks calling a housing bottom some time back. Today we spotted this rather encouraging stat that a housing price recovery is well on its way, that only about 28 percent of US homeowners with a mortgage are now underwater (Source)

Now it remains to be seen, how the whole fiscal cliff thing plays out. If the housing prices can survive that impact, we are very soon looking at a 'buy' for houses!
