NYT Paywall Statistics: 12 Percent Of Total Subscription Sales This Year

We had been tracking this for a while before it fell off our radar - NYTimes Paywall stats had been something we were very interested in. We spotted this stat today, that digital subscriptions alone will generate $91 million this year, accounting for 12 percent of total subscription sales, which will top $768.3 million this year. That proves beyond doubt. that the Paywall has definitely been a success. NYTimes has always called the numbers encouraging, but this is now a working model.
