Smart Home Services Would Be A $10.9 Billion Market By 2017

We spotted a number today that definitely made us think "Really?" - smart home services, also called the home automation market - which was just a $2 billion worldwide in 2012, would grow five fold, to more than $10.9 Billion by 2017 (Source)

What is fueling this rise? In large part, this would be due to the embrace of “smart home” services from the likes of AT&T, Comcast and Verizon. Huge growth in this area for the next five years.
