Startup Accelerators: Some Interesting Statistics
We had spotted some YCombinator stats in the past - we have also heard PG say that YC's stake would come under 500 million across the startups it has funded - we spotted this interesting set of stats today on all the startup accelerators put together -
1. There are a total of 134 accelerators, across 33 countries (tracked)
2. 2000 + Startups have been funded
3. About 100 have been sold, for a total of 1 billion USD
4. 4800 + jobs have been created
