Terms of Service

1. Overview

Statspotting is operated by P2P.AI, Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). By using Statspotting, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. What Statspotting Is

Statspotting is a game about stats. Each card shows a real stat; you guess how big it is from four answers, and getting it right on your first pick spots it. Some stats are sponsored: an advertiser funds a set number of solves, and an eligible spotter who solves that stat earns the amount set for each solve.

3. Your Account

You sign in with Google. You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity on your account. One account per person. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Spots and Fair Play

A solve is earned by playing the puzzle yourself. Automating guesses, sharing an account, or running more than one account to collect more than one win from a stat is not allowed, and we may void the resulting solves and earnings.

5. Earnings and Payments

Earnings come from sponsors, not from us. Sponsored stats are shown to accounts that have reached a qualifying level of activity on Statspotting; we set and may revise that level, and meeting it does not guarantee that any sponsored stat will be available to you. A stat pays a spotter only while its sponsorship still has solves left; an unsponsored stat pays nothing, and solving it is still yours to keep. Your balance shows what you have won. We will publish how and when a balance can be paid out before any payout is offered; until then, balances accrue and are not withdrawable.

We may adjust or reverse earnings that were the result of error, fraud, or a breach of these terms.

6. Sponsors

Sponsorships are not sold on Statspotting. Advertisers purchase them through a separate, central service that serves the Spotting family of apps, under that service's own terms. A sponsor's name is shown on the stats it sponsors.

Solves that have not been won stay available on a sponsored stat until they are. A sponsorship funds solves for spotters; it does not buy the choice of stat, editorial control over a puzzle or its reveal, or any information about who solved it.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use bots, scripts, or automation to guess
• Create multiple accounts
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Interfere with the service's operation
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

8. Intellectual Property

The puzzles, comparisons, reveals, and everything else on Statspotting are ours or our licensors'. You may use them to play and learn; you may not copy, redistribute, or resell them. Anything you write on Statspotting stays yours; you grant us a license to store and display it in order to run the service.

9. Third-Party Services

We use Google for sign-in. Google's terms apply to your use of its services. Statspotting takes no payments and does not store card details.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that a stat will be sponsored, that your account will qualify for sponsored stats, that solves will remain available, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Stats are sourced with care but may contain errors; every puzzle cites its source.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us, or won on the service, in the twelve months before the claim.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. We'll note the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
