Increasingly, how much you have determines your life experiences - not that it was any different in history, just that the set of common experiences is going down - including where you live. We spotted this number today, showing the trend in income segregation in American neighborhoods - forty years ago, 65 percent of Americans lived in middle-income neighborhoods.
